Pilgrim’s is an authentic restored Brixham sailing trawler. Our wide and expansive traditional deck area, combined with comfortable accommodation below decks make for productive days out at sea. While it’s all heritage on deck our facilities include modern toilets and showers together with a fully equipped galley. We are licensed by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency for up to fifteen passengers and crew. Full use of a support tender is available for on the water filming of the vessel if required.
From our bases in Dartmouth and Brixham, we are within easy reach of a wide range of picturesque coastlines and ports and can provide knowledgeable location planning advice for the South West UK coastline, Channel Islands, Brittany and the Isles of Scilly.
Productions filmed on Pilgrim have featured on the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5 and include historical documentaries as well as travel and maritime themed progarmmes.
Pilgrim BM45 is a traditional gaff-rigged Brixham sailing trawler and is the oldest surviving example that was built and rigged in the port. She has been meticulously restored by a dedicated group of craftsmen and volunteers and is now a proud member of the National Historic Fleet.
